Key findings from the ESPAD 2024 survey will be published on 20 May 2025

12.05.2025

On 20 May 2025, the European Union Drugs Agency (EUDA) will publish a brief report with the main findings from the 2024 European School Survey Project on Alcohol and Other Drugs (ESPAD). The report will appear on the EUDA website, and a direct link will be placed on the ESPAD home page.

The interactive ESPAD data platform, managed by the Institute of Clinical Physiology of Italy’s National Research Council, will be updated on the same day with the new 2024 data set.

To mark 30 years of ESPAD, the EUDA will host a free webinar, ‘European School Survey Project on Alcohol and Other Drugs (ESPAD): 30 years of monitoring and 2024 results’. Speakers will present the new data and look at trends since the first survey in 1995. Full details and registration are available on the webinar events page.

The 2024 survey also includes new questions on mental well-being and on how many young people have access to prevention programmes. These additions give a wider view of adolescent health.
